Roger Essig (Virtual Reality Ventures, Melbourne) will explain  the variety of ways the technology is being utilised, from Immersive Gaming, 360° video productions and commercial applications. The workshop will explore different techniques used to bring content into VR from photogrammetry, 3D scanning, 3D modelling, and the importance of audio spatialisation and explain the difference between mobile or tethered VR, Augmented Reality, mixed reality and the future of next gen hardware.
