KAHLIL GIBRAN’S THE PROPHET

Based on the much loved and multi-million copy selling classic by American-Lebanese poet, Kahlil Gibran, this lavishly animated feature is an enchanting homage to the original text, one of the most popular volumes of poetry ever written. The film tells the story of the poet, Mustafa (Liam Neeson), his housekeeper (Salma Hayak) and her willful daughter, as they escape the authorities who believe Mustafa’s poetry will incite revolution.

Directed by Roger Allers (The Lion King) with original music by Damien Rice, Glen Hansard and Lisa Hannigan, The Prophet is an inspiring work of cinema. A feast for both the soul and the senses.
